The school’s varsity volleyball (0-6) team lost to the Nitros (1-5) three sets to zero during their game last April 23.
According to coach Debra Cohen who recently came back from her leave due to her neck operation said that the team is inexperienced but is learning the fundamentals of volleyball.
As the team is composed of a senior, three juniors and four sophomores, the team can use this as an advantage for the next two years as they hopefully learn the tricks behind the sport.
“The team has a great attitude,” Cohen said. “The longer they play together, the better they will be.”
