NAKED, exposure of the inner self, “captures the innocence, the vulnerability, and the true demeanor.”
LeeAnn Crisostomo (’10) is holding her very own digital nude photography art show, “NAKED”, on May 27 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the art gallery (storage room B), which is located to the left of the staff parking lot.
There is no admission fee, but donations can be made to the Starving Artist Foundation. All are welcome to walk in and view the photography.
After seeing the work of nude photographer Pascal Renoux, she “began to see the human body in a different way.” By photographing the human body without clothing, she is able to have a deeper connection with the model’s persona.
Crisostomo’s admiration of the human body drove her to hold this event.
“I am interested in the anatomy and physiology of the whole system,” Crisostomo said. “I am also interested in the search for true self.”
“This show is my final adieu to Hoover and my high school life,” Crisostomo said. “It symbolizes my passion and my path towards realizing who I am and what I am meant to do.”
