Regarded by many as one of the school’s most successful teams, the softball team was very close to entering the CIF playoffs until its defeat against Arcadia High on May 5.

“The team has performed better than last year,” coach Rich Henning said. “This season was a slight disappointment though because we did not make it into playoffs, which was only one game away.”

Though many seniors are leaving, emerging players such as center fielder Kenya Buckley (‘12) , shortstop Kaitlyn Williams (’13), and right fielder Brianna Aguilera (’13) are giving hope to the team next season.
